Rautavaara Competition
Jury awarded the Einojuhani Rautavaara Prize to Zesses Seglias. The Prize consists of a cash prize of 5000 euros plus a commission to write a work for the Helsinki Chamber Choir, worth 3000 euros.

The audience also voted for their favourite. The audience prize was awarded to Mike Solomon.

"To give them [the participants] the possibility to work such a choir which works on the highest professional level – you can't imagine how much it means for a young composer. We all [the jury] were impressed by the high level of the compositions." -Beat Furrer, Chairman of the competition jury
