2014-15 Guide to Music Schools
Musical America Picks:
The World's Top 50 (or so) Music Schools
For this year's Guide to Music Schools, the editors selected 54 distinguished music schools and conservatories from around the world (we just couldn't settle on only 50) from the 1,278 listed in the Musical America database of music schools.
And since music educators are now acutely aware that students need more than music training to make it in the real world, we took a look at at Universal Music U @ Frost, set to open in 2015. While courses in business, marketing and even public speaking are offered at many music schools, this program is the first to bring the ongoing business into the classroom.
